Texas Tech Football is back! |
The Texas Tech Red Raiders kicked off their season with an explosive 67-7 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff last night. The No. 23-ranked Red Raiders dominated from the start, putting on a show for the home crowd at Jones AT&T Stadium. Although starting quarterback Behren Morton exited with a leg injury, his replacement Will Hammond didn't miss a beat, proving the Red Raider offense is stacked with talent.
The excitement now turns to next weekend as Texas Tech prepares to host Kent State. The Golden Flashes will be the second non-conference opponent to visit Lubbock, and the Red Raiders will be looking to build on their impressive start and prove their Top 25 ranking is well-deserved. Get ready for another electric Saturday as the Red Raiders aim to keep the momentum rolling!
