Lubbock Impact's New Clinic and Food Programs Strengthen Community Support

Lubbock Impact has recently expanded its services to better support the community's health and nutritional needs.

 

In September 2025, the organization celebrated the grand opening of the Foundations of Healing Medical Clinic, offering no-cost medical care to uninsured adults aged 19 to 64. This clinic addresses a critical gap, as nearly 54,000 Lubbock residents lack health insurance. Volunteer medical professionals provide care for various conditions, from minor infections to chronic disease management. Appointments are available most Tuesday mornings, and interested individuals can schedule by calling 806-799-4329.

 

Alongside healthcare services, Lubbock Impact continues to combat food insecurity through its Food & Hygiene Pantry. Open on Monday evenings and Thursday mornings, the pantry offers essential groceries and personal care items to those in need. Participants can access the pantry every 30 days with a valid ID. The organization relies on community donations to keep the pantry stocked and encourages individuals and groups to contribute non-perishable food and hygiene products.

The weekly Community Meal program fosters a sense of belonging by providing hot meals every Tuesday evening at 6 PM. This initiative not only nourishes the body but also builds relationships among attendees. Volunteers from local organizations, churches, and businesses play a vital role in making these meals possible.

 

To further support the community, Lubbock Impact offers a range of health and wellness services, including dental and optometry clinics, as well as counseling assistance. These programs are staffed by dedicated volunteers committed to improving the well-being of Lubbock residents.
